Your first option should be the property owner or manager. They typically have a wealth of information they can give you & recommend the best way to get there.

Maybe it's better to drive or take a train then flying because of the gorgeous scenery along the way or there are some must see things that aren't in the tourist books; that eatery where all the locals go, best places to get a beer in town, how to find places that don't gouge tourists pocketbooks, etc.
